Partnership Agreement Concluded with Bitgrit, Inc. and S2 Co., Ltd. (Announced October 27, 2025)

This agreement was concluded with the goal of making Akita City one of the leading AI-related industry centers in Japan. This will be achieved by effectively utilizing the human, material, and intellectual resources possessed by Bitgrit, Inc., S2 Co., Ltd., and Akita City. The core focus is the establishment of an AI data center operating on renewable energy and the cultivation and employment of excellent data scientists.
Moving forward, Akita City will deepen collaboration with both companies and work with related local businesses and higher education institutions to realize the establishment of the AI data center and become a leading hub for AI-related industries in Japan.

1. Bitgrit, Inc.
An overseas IT company that generates unique AI models by freely combining its proprietary AI technology according to customer needs and provides services to them.
2. S2 Co., Ltd.
An IT company that focuses on the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of servers and clouds, and moved its head office to Akita City in the 2016 fiscal year.
